ALIEN RIVERBED

This painting explores the intersection between geological morphology and psychological space, constructing an imagined planetary landscape that functions simultaneously as terrain and inner state. Inspired by erosion patterns, glacial formations, sedimentary structures, and aerial cartographies, the work investigates how natural processes can mirror emotional and subconscious architectures.

The composition is built around the transformation of landscape into innerscape. Riverbeds, mineral deposits, and frozen formations are treated not as literal representations of nature, but as visual analogies for memory, perception, and energetic movement. The central crystalline mountain acts as a structural axis within the environment, while the surrounding fluid forms create a continuous tension between solidity and dissolution, permanence and transformation.

Rather than depicting a specific location, the painting proposes a speculative geography shaped by both geological observation and introspective mapping. The alien atmosphere allows the landscape to exist outside familiar terrestrial references, emphasizing universal morphological patterns that recur in both planetary surfaces and internal psychological states.

Through muted mineral tones and organic topographies, the work examines the relationship between physical landscapes, cosmic environments, and the subconscious, positioning geology as a language capable of expressing invisible emotional and spiritual structures.
